Sinopsis

La pintoresca familia prehistórica de Los Croods vuelve a hacer de las suyas. Este divertido clan formado por la joven e inquieta Eep, su gruñón padre Grug, su comprensiva aunque despistada madre Ugga, además del friki Thunk y la bebé Sandi, regresan a la gran pantalla en una nueva aventura troglodítica, recordándonos la importancia de la familia... Y lo poco que hemos evolucionado. Esta vez, Los Croods se enfrentarán a su mayor amenaza desde que abandonaron la cueva: otra familia.

Esta película de animación es la secuela de Los Croods: Una aventura prehistórica (2013).

Es ist das Jahr 1066 als der Hexenmeister Catweazle (Otto Waalkes) vor den barbarischen Normannen fliehen muss. Mit einem Zauberspruch will er sich auf und davon machen, doch das geht gehörig schief: Catweazle landet mitten im Deutschland der Jetztzeit! Er trifft auf den 11-jährigen Förstersohn Benny (Julius Weckauf), der Gnade mit dem komischen Mann hat und ihn bei seinen Eltern versteckt. Die moderne Welt hält für den Zauberer und seine Kröte Kühlwalda einige Überraschungen bereit, die ihn sowohl schockieren aber auch eine merkwürdige Faszination auf ihn ausüben, sodass er sich immer mehr mit der Gegenwart auseinandersetzt. Das ungleiche Duo macht sich auf die Suche nach Catweazles Druidenstab, denn nur mit dem hat der kauzige Druide die Chance, wieder in seine Zeit zurückzukehren.

After having resigned from his post as President of the Republic, Jeff and his family are happy to be back in their village of Bouzolles.
